Thanksgiving and Christmas are the primary seasons upon which various organizations step up their efforts to help feed, clothe and support those less fortunate. There is a considerable amount of time, energy and money that go into these programs. However, an honest question is; what happens the remaining days of the year?

 

With Actions and in Truth, Inc. was established with the other days in mind. Our starting point was to sporadically help feed 80 people residing at a family shelter in Southeast Queens, New York. Our mission to alleviate hunger quickly grew to where we are now providing sandwich packages—sandwich, fruit, fruit drink—to hundreds of people every month; having expanded our distribution bases to additional shelters in Queens and Brooklyn. Furthermore, our team goes out several times a month to feed people living on the streets of New York City.

When the team of With Actions and in Truth makes a sandwich package distribution, we do not merely leave our supply at the front desk of a family shelter; we have one-on-one contact with the residents by handing out the individual packages. We may not be able to solve the hunger crisis today, but we can at least help another human being make it to their next meal and let someone know that someone cares about them.

 

Although we at With Actions and in Truth, Inc. are grateful for the growth we have had since our launch, we realize there is a considerable amount of work to be done; as evident by the fact that it takes us less than 20 minutes to distribute our supply of packages at each location.

 

With Actions and in Truth, Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable organization built on anonymous donations of time, talent, and treasure. We are dedicated toward utilizing the resources of our growing team to continue to help make a difference and provide a ray of hope to the lives of those less fortunate.
